Lindsay Treider

Lindsay is a certified (RYT500) Yogaworks, (RYT200) Ashtanga with Basia Going and Richard Freeman and (RYT200) Power Yoga yoga instructor working full-time in Oslo.

Lindsay discovered yoga while studying philosophy and translation at university. When she graduated she immediately began her studies in yoga. Travelling to different cities in Canada and the United States to seek out the teacher trainings she believed best suited her.  She knew she wanted the tools to share all that yoga meant to her with others. In 2013 she committed to teaching full-time and hasn’t looked back.

Lindsay’s obsession with elegance and finding strength in Asana means her classes have strong and purposeful flow. She believes that building strength has both mental and physical healing properties.

When she’s not teaching Lindsay is writing. Contributing to scholarly articles, online journals and her own blog, The Full-Time Yogi.

The world needs more: Intelligent empathy

I Believe In: Goodwill

Love is: Energy and energy is everything

I cannot get enough of: food, tunes and nature

Yoga is: A meeting place for the individual and the universal to take stock and marvel.

This year I would like: to practice more positivity

My mantra for life is: Suffering is optional.
