Yin

 

Yin Yoga er kunsten å kunne gi slipp, og fokuset i timen er å bli mer bevisst og tilstede og forbedre kroppens intelligens. Passive stillinger blir holdt lenge om gangen for å frigjøre fascia eller bindevev slik at energien i kroppen kan flyte mer fritt. Yin Yoga i hovedsak rettet mot bindevev i hofter, bekken og nedre ryggrad.

Leela sin Yin Yoga time er en alle nivåer klasse og en myk praksis, men den kan allikevel være overraskende utfordrende for mange på grunn av den lange tiden du tilbringer i hver stilling. 

 

EVENING ZEN

The Evening Zen Class is a 75 minute yin yoga class, ending with a few restorative poses and a short meditation. Yin yoga is a slow-paced form of yoga, where we hold each position for several minutes. We can get deep into the muscles and fascia over time, increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. Yin yoga is a meditative approach to yoga, activating an awareness of inner silence and is an important balance to the yang energies we have a lot of in our daily life. Rather than strive for change we focus on being present and patient, accepting the body where it is. The class is open to all levels, as each position is adapted to each body.

 

YIN + DEEP RELAX

Yin + Deep Relax is a split class including a nourishing 45 minute practice of Yin Yoga which incorporates longer floor-based poses (from 5 - 10 minutes), followed by a deep 30 minute relaxation using Yoga Nidra as our guide. Passive positions are held for a long time, releasing the fascia and connective tissue mainly in the hips, lowerback and pelvis.
